Haul SheInside + first impressions

Bene bene bene nuntio vobis magno cum gaudio è arrivato l'ordine da SheInside!

Dovete sapere che ero in stragigamegansia che me lo bloccassero in dogana (come è successo con Iherb -.-'). Invece no, ieri è arrivato tutto bellino e in perfetto stato nelle nostre manine.

Well well well  nuntio vobis magno cum gaudio our SheInside order has finally arrived!

You know, I was tremendously afraid that the customs would stop the package (as they did for our Iherb order last year -_-"). But things went well and yesterday the postman rang at the door, yay!

Prima di farvi vedere cosa abbiamo preso vi racconto brevissimamente (ma non troppo) la nostra esperienza.

Era un bel po' che giravamo attorno a questo sito piene di dubbi: "sarà roba buona? come facciamo con le taglie? se poi non arriva?" e via così di paranoie classiche dovute al fare gli ordini online (ve le fate anche voi VERO???).

Insomma alla fine decidiamo di sfruttare il 20% , abbiamo selezionato un po' di capi e premuto l'amato/odiato tasto ordina.

Era il 5 Luglio e ci siamo armate di pazienza, nemmeno troppa in realtà..... io continuavo compulsivamente a guardare il tracking... :D

 E sì state leggendo bene il pacco è tracciabile e ci ha messo 24 giorni ad arrivare (ci hanno messo una settimana circa a evadere l'ordine).

Before I show you what we've got I'll tell you very briefly (but not too much) our experience.

We were snooping on the website for quite a while and we wanted to place an order but a few doubts kept stopping us: what about the sizes? What if the package doesn't make it to us? and all that stuff...
classic paranoia due to making online orders (do you have that too, right, RIGHT?). We decide eventually to take advantage of the 20% discount, so we've picked a few pieces out and clicked on the beloved/despised "Order" button. 

It was the 5th of July, we were ready to wait with patience... not really, if we're being honest :D (I kept looking compulsively at the tracking).

Yup, the package is trackable and it took 24 days to get here (they processed the order in about a week)

 Il tutto è arrivato in una busta di plastica, con all'interno ciascun capo imbustato a sua volta. Il pacco è stato dichiarato come GIFT penso proprio per evitare i problemi in dogana.

Inoltre ci abbiamo azzeccato con le taglie!!  In ogni caso sul sito c'è la guida con le misure che vi consiglio di utilizzare(e la guida su come prenderle).

Tirando le somme e mettendo da parte la lunga attesa di rito possiamo dire di essere soddisfatte del nostro ordine e quasi sicuramente ne faremo un altro!

The stuff arrived in a small plastic envelope, every piece of clothing  wrapped individually. It was declared as GIFT for customs purposes, I suppose. We also got the right sizes!! I suggest for you to read through the comments below every piece, they could be handy, and really check at the sizing guide or take a look at the pictures of customers.

All in all, although we've had to wait for a while, we are satisfied with the order and most certainly we're going to place another one in the future.

La gonna è un po' diversa dalla foto che c'è sul sito, mi pare un po' più corta, arriva più o meno a metà polpaccio e meno "pleated"! Ho preso la M perchè nei commenti alcune ragazze hanno accennato al fatto che le taglie fossero un po' piccole.. per fortuna ho guardato! Mi sta giusta giusta, io ho sì un po' di sedere e fianchi ma per questo genere di gonne di solito mi va anche la S, avendo comunque la vita piccolina. E' per questa che ho pressato per fare l'ordine, anche se ho appena realizzato di possedere tre gonne grigie.. oh beh.
Mi piace molto anche il fatto che non abbia la cucitura visibile da un lato, quindi la posso indossare anche in vari modi.

The skirt looks quite different from the photo on the website, it's shorter and less pleated! I went for a M because in the comments few people said that sizes run quite small.. Luckily I do my researches quite well! It fits me fine, I have quite a bootie and hips,but I do have quite a small waist instead and for this kind of skirts I normally tend to go for a S. The skirt is the reason why I wanted to place an order, although I've just realised that I own three grey skirts.. oh well.
I like that there's not a visible seem on one side, so I can wear it in different ways.

In occasione del primo makeup ad apparire sul blog, la mia palpebra destra ci ha fatto la grazia di essere meno cadente del solito. Sì! Mi accontento di poco, sapete! 

Comunque, una settimana fa Siobhan aka Letzmakeup aveva pubblicato il tutorial del makeup di Lorde, nello specifico è partita dalla face chart che MAC aveva pubblicato da qualche parte in occasione dell'uscita della sua collezione. Io ho adattato il trucco un pelino di più al mio viso, per esempio non ho fatto la parte inferiore delle labbra più piena anche ai lati perchè mi sta malissimo, ed ho seguito la forma naturale delle mie sopracciglia (vi prego, non prestate loro attenzione perchè sto cercando invano di farle crescere, ma purtroppo non c'è niente da fare.. questa è un'altra storia mi sa!). Non credo  proprio che sia nella face chart che in foto Lorde indossi Pure Heroine, dai pochi swatches che ho visto mi sembra essere moolto più viola, o forse sono i colori sotto ad essere un po' alterati (chiaramente me ne rendo conto solo ora D:); il rossetto di Sephora comunque mi sembra ci si avvicini abbastanza (al colore della face chart + foto, intendo!), dal vivo sembra molto più cupo, o forse sono io che me lo sono sempre immaginata troppo cupo per andarci in giro di giorno!

E niente, cercare di fotografare i trucchi mi fa un po' mettere in dubbio le mie "capacità" se così le posso chiamare, sono varie volte che provo a fare delle foto ma finisco sempre per buttarle tutte.. facciamo finta che sia la fotocamera digitale il problema, va! 

Niente, se avete consigli sia per quanto riguarda il makeup, sia per le foto, vi prego, sparate!

On the occasion of the first makeup look which appears on the blog, my right lid was so kind to be less hooded than usual. Yes! I am easy to please, you know.

Anyway, a week ago or so Siobhan aka Letzmakeup published a tutorial on a Lorde's makeup, to be specific she followed the face chart that MAC put on some social network for the release of her own collection. I adapted the makeup on my features, for instance I did not  because it looks awful on me, and I followed the natural "shape" of my eyebrows (please don't don't look at them, I'm vainly trying to grow them out, but there's nothing that can be done for them... this is another story though!).
I don't think that in the face chart and in the photo below Lorde's wearing Pure Heroine, from the few swatches that I've seen it seemed far more purply, or maybe the colours there are a tad altered (I'm realising it just now D:); the Sephora lipstick, nonetheless, seems to be a pretty good match to me, referring to the colour of the face chart-photo. In real life it seems much deeper, or maybe I've always perceived it to be too dark to go around with during the day!

Trying to take photos at my makeup looks brings me into question my "skills", if I can call them like that, I threw away pretty much all the photos that I took so far... let's pretend that the digital camera is the problem!

   Per i capelli sì. Per il make up e la cura del corpo è un misto. Questo perchè con il bio abbiamo visto benefici sui capelli, mentre ad esempio per la routine viso essere talebane non portava grandi cambiamenti ( e in alcuni casi di cui poi parleremo ha fatto pure peggio).  Per il make up il nostro metro di scelta è la resa.

An ode to catfight [A REVIEW]

Sapete, faccio parte di quella categoria di ragazze che o vanno di un bel rossetto acceso e "visibile", o sfoggiano il colorito naturale delle proprie labbra. A me i nude nun me piasono. Ehw. Se mi sento in vena quella mattina vado tranquillamente a scuola con un bel rosso acceso, non mi faccio alcun problema riguardo al portare rossetti vibranti a scuola, c'è gente che va in giro per i corridoi con tette/sederi de fuori, quindi. Comunque, vi presento qui il mio bambino, il mio autoregalo per i 18 (non sono così patetica, in realtà.). 

 You know, I belong to that category of girls that "Go bright or go home". I am not a proper fan of nudes. ehww. I do have to say that If I feel it that morning, I go easily to school with a bright red on my lips, I don't see any problem at all, given that people wander through corridors with no clothes basically. Anyway,  I want you to meet my child, my beloved, a treat to myself for my 18th birthday (I'm not that lame, I can assure you.)

In realtà io avrei voluto puntare su un velvet lip pencil di Nars, per i quali ho gli occhi a cuoricino da tempi immemori, ma colpevoli la confusione che mi provoca Sephora e l'immensa quantità di prodotti che non mi posso permettere, gli avvoltoi-dipendenti di Sephora, che stazionano efficacemente più o meno ovunque e la sorella, Saria, che al farle vedere le foto degli swatches mi ha mandato in confusione. Questa è la vita di un'indecisa cronica, ebbene sì. Come dicevo qualche riga sopra, ero pronta a lanciarmi su un lip pencil di Nars, ma, swatchando e riswatchando eccetera, nessun colore mi convinceva. Dragon Girl mi chiamava, ma avevo fatto una promessa a Saria per cui non avrei preso un altro rosso. Che pensandoci adesso non ne abbiamo nemmeno così tanti! gira di qua, gira di là, toh lo stand Urban Decay,li swatchi, woo, che belli! Vado ancora più in confusione, faccio la spola tra i due stand, cercando di non farmi notare dagli avvoltoi, mi fisso con Bang di Urban Decay, ma è rosso, quindi no. Venti giorni dopo mi decido, e porto lui alla cassa, contenta come una pasqua. Sventolo il mio pacchettino Sephora durante il tragitto verso casa. Faccio vedere il sacrosanto rossetto a Saria che esclama: ma  hai un colore identico di già! Ma che mi dice questa? Vado a vedere, è vero. Sono ai primissimi inizi della costruzione del mio stash e già mi ritrovo con un dupe, ma porc... Nonostante questo, non mi sono pentita dell'acquisto.

Dopo aver scritto dieci pagine ancora non si è scoperto che cavolo di rossetto sia: Catfight, della linea Revolution di Urban Decay.

My original plan was to go for a lip pencil by Nars, which I'm totally obsessed with, but I got muddled due to Sephora and the massive amount of makeup that I cannot afford,  the vulture-employees who are everywhere and anywhere and Saria, the sister. This is the life of a chronic-indecisive kinda girl. yep. As I said before, I was ready to  lay into a Nars lip pensil, but swatch after swatch, none of the shades struck me. Dragon Girl was calling me, but I made a promise to Saria that I wouldn't buy another red. Thinking about it now, honestly we don't even have that many reds! From a stand to another, oh, the newest Urban Decay lipsticks seem cool! I got even more confused, I must admit. Several years later I decide for one lipstick, I pay for it with satisfaction; I show the Sephora bag off a bit while returning home. I show my purchase to Saria who screams out: but you already have that shade! What the heck is she saying? Then I realise that she's right. I have just started building up my stash and I have already found a dupe, shuut. Nonetheless, don't be afraid, I do not regret buying that lipstick. 
I wrote like a million pages and I haven't told you of what lipstick I'm talking about yet: Catfight, from the Revolution line by Urban Decay. 

vittima dei continui swatches.. che ci posso fare, io i miei trucchi li uso!

Trattasi di un rossetto fucsia, rosa, tendente al rosso, dal sottotono che vira al freddo con un finish lucido. è pigmentatissimo e cremosissimo, basta una sola passata per ottenere una coprenza bella piena.

Quello che maggiormente cerco io un un rossetto è la durata, odio dover stare a ritoccare il trucco e odio i rossettini lucidini che se ne vanno via dopo due ore (per intenderci, il tipo di rossetti che piace ad Essie Button.. meh.). Questo gioiellino mi dura tranquillamente sei/sette ore, senza sbavare ne niente, resiste anche alla prova cibo (non ho mai provato con una bella pizza unta e bisunta, credo), per farvi un esempio un giorno ero fuori a mangiare lo yogurt per pranzo con delle mie compagne, avevo su il rossetto dalle sette di mattina, mi pappo il mio yogurt tranquillamente e una delle mie compagne mi guarda e mi chiede: ma che rossetto hai su, che è ancora lì tranquillo?

Altro esempio, siamo a Budapest con la classe, anche in questo caso ho su il rossetto da un bel pezzo, andiamo a mangiare in un ristorante in una delle vie principali di cui adesso non ricordo il nome e anche in questo caso un'altra compagna mi chiede tutta stupita che rossetto io abbia su e se me lo sia rimessa per caso dopo pranzo. Ammetto che l'ho riapplicato un minimo in quel caso, ma solo nella parte centrale e per rinfrescarlo un po', ma era presentabile comunque. Non mi secca le labbra nella maniera più assoluta, anche se effettivamente di base le mie labbra non sono tanto secche e quando non sono in vena da rossetto potente, ne applico un velo leggero picchiettandolo, fungendo così un po' da tinta.

 Catfight is a pink-fuchsia with slight red undertone, slightly cooltoned and with a creamy shine. It is extremely pigmented and creamy, it gives a full coverage with just one swipe.
What I mayorly look for in a lip product is duration. I hate to touch up my makeup and I hate those shiny little lipsticks that go away within two hours ( I'm thinking about those kind of lipsticks that Essie Button loves so much.. meh.) This beauty lasts on my lips for 6/7 hours, without feathering and stays on after a good eat (I've never put it to the test with a deliciously greesy pizza, though) for instance some day I was eating a yoghurt with a few schoolmates of mine, and one of them asked me what lipstick I was wearing, as it stayed pretty well after the yoghurt.  Yet again, I was in Budapest with my mates, and another fried asked me if I had re-applied the lipstick after eating lunch; being honest I did touched it up a little bit, but because I wanted it to be as vibrant as before, not because it looked awful. It doesn't dry my lips out, naturally mine do not tend to dry that much tough and whenever I want to tone it down a bit I dab it on with my finger so that it performs as a stain. 

Nonostante la "delusione" iniziale, sono contenta del mio acquisto, che per i miei gusti personali trovo azzeccatissimo. Come vi dicevo Bang mi aveva catturato, ma non sono sicura che un rosso che tenda così spiccatamente all'arancio mi possa stare bene e voglio provare ancora così tanti rossetti di diversi brand che per ora non ho in mente di prendere un fratellino a Catfight, ma non si sa mai.

Nel caso siate curiose, o non vogliate spendere venti euro (il prezzo esatto è di 19.90), vi mostro il dupe perfetto di Carfight: è l'Essence matt lip cream in Smooth Berry, che sebbene dovrebbe essere matte tende a metterci un po' ad asciugarsi e rimane inizialmento un velo lucido sulle labbra. Anche questo prodotto mi piace molto, anche lui dura abbastanza sulle mie labbra, tende a seccarmele un pochino ma niente di catatrofico assolutamente. Ce l'ho un po' con lui perchè è uguale a Catfight, anche se a veder bene lui è arrivato prima!

Despite the initial "disappointment", I am definitely happy with my purchase, I love the lipstick and I find that the shade suits me pretty good. As I said before, I had put my eyes on Bang, I am not sure that an orangey - red would suit me though, and I want to try so many lipsticks from so many different brands that for now I am not going to buy another one of this line, but never say never.
In case you are curious, or you don't want to spend 19.90, I show you Catfight's exact dupe: it is the Essence matt lip cream in Smooth Berry, which, as the name suggests, should be matt, altough it takes a while to dry. I like it as well, it stays pretty well on but I feel that this dries my lips out a little bit, but I do not mind. I am a bit angry at it because it's so identical to Catfight, although it arrived first!

I don't own that much makeup!

"Ma io non ho tanti trucchi" è la frase che tutte le beauty addicted avranno esclamato almeno una volta. Che poi magari è anche vero, eh. O magari tendiamo ad usare un terzo di quello che possediamo. Beh, nel mio caso è così! Poveri trucchi, infognati in angolini impensabili, dimenticati da tutto e da tutti, bellamente ignorati...

Ieri sera ho preso in mano i due cassetti pieni ripieni e strapieni di prodotti, ne ho tirati fuori 5 da mettere in bella vista e che mi impegnerò ad utilizzare (se non a smaltire) nel prossimo futuro. La mia non è un'idea certamente originale, molti blog hanno aderito al progetto "Uso consapevole dei miei trucchi", o qualcosa del genere, ma d'altro  canto non voglio che sia un progetto a termine, perchè d'estate chiaramente non esco tutti i giorni e spesso non ho voglia di truccarmi troppo; cercherò comunque di portare questi prodotti con me quando parto. Tra questi ci sono trucchi che effettivamente non ho mai usato, a parte magari per qualche prova pazza in casa e qualche swatch ripetuto sulla mano, per cui non hanno nemmeno avuto la chance di farsi valere (in caso!). Vediamo un po' che ho tirato fuori.

 "But I don't have that much makeup!" How many of you have said it at least once?? Come on!

Maybe it's true, I don't know. Or maybe we tend to use a third of the products that we actually own. I personally tend to do that, actually! Think about those sad lonely products hidden in dark corners, forgotten by everyone, beautifully ignored...

Last night I grabbed my makeup drawers, which are full to the brim and I took out 5 products that I will be trying to use more (or finish up, eventually) in the near future.  I never really used some of them I must admit, apart from some crazy try ons at home and some swatches on my hands, therefore they didn't even have any chance at all. Let's see what I took out:

1) Elf  jumbo eyeshadow sticks nei colori Forest Nymph e Feeling Lucky (3.50 euro). 

Fanno parte dell'unico ordine che abbiamo fatto da Elf l'anno scorso, di cui attualmente non usiamo proprio nulla. Avrò usato questi prodotti si e no una volta, forse due se esagero. Sono cremosissimi, senza primer vanno nelle pieghette nel giro di un battito di ciglia, ma effettivamente sono pigmentati e Forest Nymph è un colore niente male.

1) Elf jumbo eyeshadow sticks in the shade Forest Nymph and Feeling Lucky ( 3.50 euro). 

They were part of the one and only order we placed a year ago or so (we actually do not use any of the products we ordered...) I must have used them just once or twice; they are uber creamy, I am sure that without primer they crease instantly, they are pigmented though, and Forest Nymph doesn't look that bad.

2) Rossetto Essence 10 Cotton Candy. 

Scelsi questo colore perchè volevo provare colori diversi, un po' di sperimentazione al costo di tre euro insomma, E' un rosa bubblegum che su di me sta malissimo, almeno da quel che mi ricordo. Cercherò di utilizzarlo mixandolo con altri prodotti.

2) Essence lipstick 10 Cotton Candy. 

I chose this colour because I wanted to try out different shades, I wanted to experiment without spending a whole lot of money, of course. It is a bright bubblegum pink that, according to my memories, looks awful on me. I will try to mix it with other products. 

3) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 05 (7,90 euro ca). 

Questo è un rosa neutro con delle iridescenze, credo. E' il primo rossetto di questa linea che ho acquistato e purtroppo è legato ad un ricordo piuttosto spiacevole (Per farla in breve l'ho pagato esattamente il doppio del suo prezzo, la commessa l'ha giustificato dicendo che il prezzo vecchio era quello di lancio e che ormai era scaduto. Cazzata. Ma passiamoci sopra). L'ho usato spesso inizialmente, ma è proprio quell'iridescenza che non mi convince, oltre al fatto che adesso non mi ci vedo molto con quel colore. Andrò anche con questo di layering mi sa. 

3) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 05 (7,90 ca).

This is a neutral pink with some iridescence through it; it is the first shade of the line that I've ever bought and annoingly it is linked with a pretty bad memory ( long story short, I paid for it twice its price, because the shop assistant said that the old price was a launch offer. Bullshit. But let's get over it). I used it quite frequently at first, but I don't really like that iridescence  and I don't see myself wearing that colour anymore. I will layer it with something else as well. 

4) Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow num. 10 (6,90 euro). 

Ce l'abbiamo da tempi immemori, devo averlo preso io quell'anno in cui ero nella mia fase verde. L'ho usato ogni tanto a mo' di eyeliner e mi è piaciuto il risultato, ma poi è risprofondato nei meandri del cassetto, povero. 

4) Kiko Long Lastng Eyeshadow num. 10 (eur 6,90). 

We've had this one for years, I think I might have bought it during my green phase ages ago. I used it once in a while as an eyeliner and it wasn't actually bad, but then I forgot about it once again.

5) Kiko matita occhi num. 100. 

 Non so da dove sia uscita fuori, ma viste le sue dimensioni dev'essere con noi da un bel po' di tempo. Può essere un'alternativa all'eyeliner nero, per un look un po' più soft, oppure per definire un po' la rima cigliare inferiore.  Potrei anche finirla, mmm.

5)  Kiko eye pencil num 100. 

I don't know where it comes from, but I assume we've had it for a while now. It can be a good alternative to the standard black eyeliner for a softer look, or to define the lower lashline a bit. I could even finish it up, mmm.

Aggiungo nel mix anche il blush Origami di Neve, che mi piace molto ma che non uso spesso perchè i prodotti in polvere libera sono un po' laboriosi da usare, per di più va dosato bene perchè è molto pigmentato, ed essendo sempre di fretta non ho il tempo di fare tutto ciò eheh; Nascondino, di cui vi ho parlato nel post precedente, cercherò di finirlo per smaltire un po' di correttori e per il piacere puro di finire dei trucchi!

La mia intenzione ufficiale è quella di iniziare ad investire di più - ma anche più attentamente - nel make up, spesso compro molte cose low cost che va a finire che non uso, mentre risparmiando quei soldi avrei potuto tranquillamente comprare un prodotto più costoso ma che desidero di più e sono sicura userei molto di più. Devo però dire che è verità universalmente riconosciuta che prezzi più alti non vogliono per forza dire maggiore qualità!; con questo progetto la mia intezione è sicuramente di smaltire qualcosina, fare un po' una cernita dei prodotti ed iniziare a costruire uno stash come si deve; spero che mi possa servire anche come reminder del tipo "tanto non userò questo prodotto, quest'altro probabilmento non mi starà bene e così dicendo" nei momenti di rapsus spendaccioso.

I've thrown into the mix Origami, a blush by Neve Cosmetics, which I do like, but I don't tend to use it that often because it requires more time to be applied and everything and I honestly cannot be that much bothered. Last but not least Nascondino, also by Neve, which you have seen in the previous post. I really want to dispose of some of my concealers.

My intention is to start investing a bit more - and more carefully as well - in makeup, more often than not I tend to buy loads of low cost products that I end up fotgetting about, while If I had saved that money I could have bought perhaps a more expensive product but that I truly, deeply desired and that I am sure I would use more. It is a truth universally acknowledged, though, that higher prices do not necessarily mean higher quality!

With this project I intend to get rid of some bits and bobs and start building a proper stash  and hopefully it will come useful as a reminder whenever I feel spendy.

I won't establish a deadline for this project because of course I do not go out every single day during summer, and I can't be bothered to put on that much makeup anyway, but I am going to bring these products with me when I go on holiday.

[The pursuit of the perfect concealer] Concealers Roundup

Salve, qui è un panda che vi parla. Appartengo alla categoria di persone che se anche dormissero per una settimana intera, si ritroverebbero comunque quell'adorabile alone bluastro violaceo ad incorniciare gli occhi. Grazie mamma, grazie papà. Fanbrodo Mendel e la sua genetica. Ecco, il maggiore uso che faccio io del correttore è infatti per la zona attorno agli occhi, non che non ne abbia bisogno sul viso, ma non ho davvero la pazienza di mettermi lì a correggere tutte le macchie, mi accontento della coprenza del fondotinta ( anzi, bb cream) che è più che sufficiente per me.  

Questi correttori sono tutti diversi tra loro in quanto a consistenza e colore, nessuno mi soddisfa al 100 %, ma penso che la mia ricerca del correttore perfetto durerà moolto a lungo. Il prossimo sulla mia lista, una volta smaltiti un po' di questi, sarà il pro longwear di MAC, è in wishlist da tantissimo tempo e mi sembra possa fare al caso mio.

The most use I get from concealers is for my undereye area, not that I don't need concealer all over my face, but I really cannot be bothered to take it slow and cover all of my blemishes and spots, I am fine with the coverage that the Bb-cream gives me, most of the times. The concealers I'm about to show you are all different in consistency and color, none of them satisfies me entirely, I am afraid that my quest of the perfect concealer will last for a very long time. The next on my wishlist is the MAC's pro longwear, I covet it since I've started watching videos on youtube.

Poco usato lui.. // We didn't use it at all..

-  Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer nella colorazione FBI. 16.50 euro. 
Devo averlo comprato verso ottobre o novembre dell'anno scorso; è ufficialmente il mio primo acquisto high end... okay, l'ho preso con lo sconto del 20% ma di fatto Urban Decay è una marca high end. L'avevo preso perché Marta (aka Sweetbeauty1990) ne aveva parlato molto bene, è con lo sconto l'ho pagato sui 13 euro, che non è una cifra esosa. Comunque. Il prodotto è molto cremoso e pastoso, davvero coprente, ma bisogna stare attenti a quanto prodotto si applica perché altrimenti andrà a finire inesorabilmente nelle pieghette. Ecco, ci tengo a precisare che durante il periodo scolastico io tengo su il makeup per circa 8 ore, e qualunque correttore provato fino ad ora mi finisce prima o poi tra le pieghette. Applicato con il pennello di Real Techniques, quello tondo e cicciotto di cui non ricordo il nome, copre al punto giusto. Effettivamente non c'è molto prodotto, però fate conto che è durato da novembre a... facciamo maggio, perché ormai è un moncherino da buttare nonostante continuiamo a scavare per l'ultima briciola di prodotto ( lo tempero tenendolo tra i denti, ecco l'ho detto) e abbiamo usato in due, quindi se non ve ne spalmate quaranta chili in faccia ogni volta che vi truccate e lo dosate bene, dura abbastanza. Sulle imperfezioni non l'ho mai usato per il semplice motivo che la bb cream che usiamo noi è per me un pelino più scura del mio tono di pelle (adesso abbiamo comprato la colorazione più chiara, hallelujaah), quindi si notava lo stacco correttore- bb cream. 

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer. Shade FBI. 16.50 Euro. 
I must have bought it around October or November last year; is officially my first high end purchase ... okay, I got it with a  20% discount but Urban Decay is actually a high end brand. I picked this one up because Marta (aka Sweetbeauty1990) had raved about it and with the discount I paid about 13 Euro, which is not a steep price. In any case. The product is very creamy and mellow, it has a good medium- full coverage, but you have to be careful about how much product you apply, because otherwise it will  inevitably crease. FIY, I want to specify that during school I keep the makeup on for about 8 hours, and all the concealers that i've tried until now crease on me sooner or later. Applied with the Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush,it covers just fine. Indeed, there is not that much product, but it lasted from November to ... let's say May, because we have to throw it away despite the fact that I keep digging in for the last crumbs of  product, and both me and my sister used it.  I've never used it for covering blemishes simply because the bb cream that we use is a bit darker than my actual skin tone (now we bought the lighter color, hallelujaah), therefore you could actually see the difference between the two colors.

- Neve Cosmetics Nascondino. Colore Light. 8.90 Euro. 
L'abbiamo preso da Thymiama praticamente appena uscito, l'ho voluto comprare io così un po' al buio senza aver letto recensioni ne nulla (chiamasi la smania dei correttori) e.. per le occhiaie sicuramente non va bene. Ha una consistenza molto secca, io me l'aspettavo un po' più cremoso e invece no. Non utilizzandolo per le imperfezioni non vi so dire se effettivamente copra o no (e quindi se abbia una qualche utilità, mi viene sempre in mente il post di Soffice Lavanda a riguardo). Penso che finisca anche in fretta, considerando che io l'ho usato pochissimo, non so quanto ne usi Saria. Comunque è no.     

Neve Cosmetics, Nascondino. Shade light. 8.90 Euros. 
We got it from Thymiama as soon as it came out, I decided to buy it without having read any reviews on it (concealer lust..) and for dark circles .. It's a no no. It's really dry, I I expected it to be a bit creamier but no. I don't use it for blemishes so I can not tell if it actually covers or not ( I always think about the post of Soffice Lavanda about it). I think it finishes too quickly, considering that I used it just a few times, I do not know how much Saria uses of it. However, it is a no.

-  Maybelline anti age correttore cancella età. Colorazione Nude. 7 euro. 

E' per ora il mio correttore preferito tra quelli che ho provato, copre davvero davvero bene ed è molto leggero, ho però dei ma: innanzitutto ho il sospetto che sia stato la causa dell'orzaiolo che mi è venuto sotto l'occhio destro un paio di mesi fa, avevo letto da una ragazza su un blog (non mi ricordo quale fosse) che era successo anche a lei! Mah. Comunque, ho provveduto subito a togliere la spugnetta schifosetta che a quanto pare sembra essere odiata da tutti ( non a caso). Non capisco se ci siano altri colori, io ho la colorazione nude però è un pelino più scuretta rispetto al mio tono di pelle, però quando l'ho preso da Tigotà non mi sembra di aver visto altri colori. Tra l'altro non ho capito se qui in Italia sia discontinued o no. Qualcuno sa qualcosa? Ultimamente sto notando che mi finisce in poco tempo nelle pieghette, non so se sia questione della cipria con cui lo fisso o della quantità che applico. Cavoli, da come ne parlo non sembra essere il mio favorito, però in quanto a coprenza ci siamo.   

                                                    

Maybelline instant age rewind. Color Nude. 7 euros. 

It is my favourite concealer among the ones that i've tried until now. It covers really well and doesn't feel heavy, but I have a few concerns about this product. First of all, I think that this  is what caused my sty under my right eye a couple of months ago, I read somewhere that a girl had the same problem and thought that this concealer could have been guilty. Mmm. Anyways, I took the sponge out because it was disgusting, and apparently everyone does hate that sponge. (I wonder why is that). I don't understand if there are more colors on the market, the one i have is a tad too dark for me and I still haven't figured out wheter it is discontinued here in Italy or not. Lately I've noticed that it creases in a short amount of time, maybe it's because of the powder I use to set it or the amount I apply. Heck, it doesn't seem very attractive from what I've just written! But covering wise, approved.

- Madina Milano Color Guard Concealer. 11 euro.  

L'ho preso l'estate scorsa; è molto liquido e molto arancione, chiaramente non può essere usato da solo; se avete delle occhiaie bluastre un pizzico di questo solo nell'area dove c'è la discromia andrà benissimo. Effettivamente non è male, ma la mia natura pigra si dimentica sempre di utilizzarlo.                                                                                      

 Madina Milano Color Guard Concealer. 11 Euro. 
I picked it up last summer; it's very liquidy and very orangey, as you can see in the pictures below. It cannot be used on its own obviously, but if you have blue toned undereyes, this will help you correct the discoloration. It's not bad, actually, but the lazy part of me always forgets to use it.

Deborah 24 ore perfect correttore stick nella tonalità 02 light rose. sui 7 euro.  

Il fratello più giallastro (non mi ricordo la colorazione, sorry!) è il correttore per le imperfezioni d'ordinanza. Quando usavo il fondotinta minerale lo utilizzavo come primo step per correggere ciò che sapevo che il fondo minerale non avrebbe nascosto. Cremoso, coprente, ci piace. Questo colore l'ha preso la mamma, non so come sia andata la storia, sta di fatto che per il viso non va bene perché è troppo rosa, come si vede dalla foto. ieri l'ho provato per caso sulle occhiaie e.. rivelazione. ciao ciao alone blu viola. E sì che lo possediamo da un po'. Devo dire però che effettivamente le mie occhiaie ieri erano un pochino meno intense. Farò altri esperimenti in tal senso e vi terrò aggiornate, ma ne va usato poco poco altrimenti le pieghette se lo magnano tutto.       

                                                                                                        

 Deborah 24 Hours Perfect Stick Concealer. Shade 02 light rose. Around 7 euros. 
The more yellow-y shade is the one I use on blemishes. When I used to wear mineral foundation i used that concealer under the mineral foundation to cover what could not be covered just by the foundation. It's creamy, it covers really well, we like it. Our mom bought this particular shade, I don't know how it happened; anyway I cannot use it on my face because it's too pink as you can see. Yesterday I tried it on my undereye circles and.. illumination. Bye bye to my blue-violety halo. (I do have to say that my circles were a bit less intense, yesterday..). I will try it again soon, i will definitely keep you updated, but bare in mind that you have to use a small amount of this product, otherwise it will crease like crazy. 

- Rimmel Wake Me Up. Sui 7 euro.

 Comprato da ASOS perchè chiaramente qui è fuori produzione. Avevo preso forse una tonalità troppo chiara per me, ma comunque non è un correttore adatto alle portatrici di occhiaie scure. Ne usavo a quintali per cercare di coprire le occhiaie, il che mi portò alla scoperta che possiede all'interno dei micro brillantini e chiaramente mi andava a finire nelle pieghette che era una gioia. Una volta realizzato che non faceva per me, lo usavo sugli zigomi e poco sotto l'incavo della zona occhiaie, e usato così mi piaceva parecchio.          

                                                                                   

Rimmel wake me up concealer.Around 7 Euros. 

I bought it off ASOS because here it is obviously discontinued; I may have bought a shade too light for me, but in any case it's not suitable for panda girls like me. I used to apply waay to much product, which led me to the discovery that it contains minuscule shimmery particles in it, and obviously it creased like crazy. When I eventually realised that It was not for me, I used it on my cheekbones and under the hollow of my undereye area to highlight, and I liked it that way.
